Relation with SEIP

RTISC signed a Grants Contract with the Skills Development Coordination and Monitoring Unit (SDCMU) of SEIP project on 4th September 2019 for supporting ISC of RMG & Textile Sector (RT-ISC). Initially the project planned to continue till 31st December 2021 and later with an amendment it extends till 31st December 2022. 


 

 

Under the project RTISC means to achieve the following outputs-

           Output 1: Appropriate Skills Development Solutions Identified & Disseminated

           Output 2: Additional CS & CBLM development

           Output 3: Appropriate Skills Assessment and Certification Systems Developed and Implemented

           Output 4: Skill Gaps Analysis in RMG & Textile Sector

 

Now RTISC is working with the following activities with the support of SEIP & other stakeholders-  

1.      Review skill development practice

2.      Develop Training Operation Manual & Manual for ToT on Skills and Pedagogy

3.      Organize ToT for trainers involved in apparel sector

4.      Organize ToT for assessor involved in apparel sector

5.      Formulate skill development strategy for RMG sector

6.      Review existing competency standards

7.      Design and develop additional Competency Standards (CSs), Competency Based Learning Materials (CBLMs) and assessment tools

8.      Review the current assessment and certification system

9.      Assess trainees’ performance engaging industry assessors

10.  Identify emerging skills for 4iR in RMG & Textile Sector

11.  Design and develop Labour Market Information System (LMIS)
